Paul is the absolute best! He’s helped me regain range of motion in my ankle after years of neglect following 15+ year old sprains, he’s helped me correct poor shoulder movement patterns, and he’s done miracles on my neck and traps after straining them in a workout. His knowledge of the human anatomy + ability to manually release tight tissue + recommendations for continual strengthening are unmatched. I really appreciate how he explains to me what he’s working on and gives me guidance to fix issues on my own so over time I’m less dependent on manual therapies from a provider. Super grateful for the knowledge he’s shared with me and the improvements in my mobility and strength from his care. Couldn’t recommend working with him more!

I’ve worked with Paul for over 7+ years.  Initially an issue with arm/neck pain and numbness (and again a few year later with a broken ankle).  From day 1 Paul provided great client service and truly cares about each patient’s well-being and recovery progress.  Now providing care on his own at Fast Track Physio, I visit on a monthly basis to truly maximize my mobility and stability to ensure I can maintain a pain-free, active lifestyle. I sincerely appreciate his overall professionalism, tremendous expertise, and flexibility in scheduling.  I would highly recommend Paul Schroder/Fast Track Physio to anyone looking to feel better, move better and learn more effective self-management techniques!  Thanks Paul!

I had the privilege of receiving physical therapy from Paul, and I am thrilled to share my exceptional experience. Here's why Paul stands out as an outstanding physical therapist:

Unparalleled knowledge: Among the many therapists I've seen, Paul possesses the most detailed knowledge of the human body. His ability to identify and address acute issues surpasses others, providing unique solutions. We addressed lingering issues I have had for years that I thought could not be healed.

Physical strength advantage: Paul's strength allows him to perform manual manipulations that other therapists may not. This personalized approach accelerates recovery and targets specific needs effectively.

User-friendly app: Paul uses a convenient app for exercise instructions, featuring clear directions and videos. This ensures proper form and technique, maximizing effectiveness and minimizing the risk of injury. The exercises are also not the routine movements you get from most PTs.

Athletic expertise: Unlike many therapists who mainly work with the elderly, Paul understands the needs of higher-level athletes. His tailored treatments and knowledge of sports-related injuries have been invaluable.

Convenient Chicagoland locations: Paul offers multiple locations, making it easy to schedule appointments and receive his exceptional care wherever I am.

In summary, Paul's physical therapy services surpassed all my expectations. With convenient locations, unmatched knowledge, physical strength, a user-friendly app, and expertise in athletics, he has truly made a difference in my recovery and my health moving forward. I highly recommend Paul as an exceptional physical therapist who combines expertise with compassionate care.

I've been seeing Paul for about 2 years now. He has helped get me through shoulder surgery recovery, two knee scopes, and multiple nagging overuse injuries. I am not exaggerating when I say that my quality of life would be significantly reduced without my weekly sessions. The best part of Paul's practice, beyond the intelligent and adaptable care plans, is that the entire 60-min session is dedicated to hands-on work. This isn't your typical PT practice where you get 10-15 mins of therapy with 45 mins of heat/ice/foam roller. Beyond my own personal experience, I am a gym owner that has sent Paul dozens of injured athletes. He has always gotten them back to the gym with rapidity and good health. Highly recommend.

Went to see Paul at the suggestion of a co-worker after injuring myself bowling (you read that correctly). As a long-time competitive league bowler, I was interested in getting back on the lanes as quickly as possible. Paul - a bowler himself - was able to identify the issue and had me back out in more than half the time I thought I’d be shelved. He’s responsive, flexible, and always willing to answer any questions you may have about what he’s prescribed. I honestly can’t say enough good things about my experience with him and would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone dealing with nagging injuries.

As a CrossFit Trainer and competitive athlete I'm constantly moving and need to stay injury free to continue doing what I enjoy most and be effective at my job as a coach. When I first came to Paul he pinpointed inflammation in both my right rotator cuff and bicep, had it not been for his expertise in identifying the issue, my injury would have gotten severely worse and could have required significant time away from both training and coaching. But now I don't have to worry since Paul has provided a quick and efficient recovery plan, has given me the ability to continue training and kept me healthy and free of injury so that I can put my best foot forward each and every time I step on the floor to coach. Paul makes the physical therapy experience extremely enjoyable by bringing his positive personality, humor, and a genuine approach to each client that clearly shows how much he cares about helping others get back on their feet. I'm grateful to have met Paul and my positive experience with Fast Track Physio is why I'll continue to come back in the future!

Paul at Fast Track Physio is one of the best medical practitioners I've ever worked with. I've had chronic pain from various different injuries and since seeing him in January, my pain has decreased significantly and my strength has increased considerably.

I am *very* picky when it comes to picking professionals to work with as it pertains to my body and Paul has helped decrease chronic pain while providing professional, intention and intellectual care. I've already referred a few friends to him and speak highly of him to anyone I can.

I've met clients of Paul who call him a "wizard" because he *knows* what he's doing - I didn't understand it at first, but now I do. Paul is a wizard. I trust him with tending to body ailments and look to him for support/questions regarding anything physical/sport/workout related.

I also usually don't write reviews. But I'm writing this because I'm eternally grateful for Paul's work. I plan on seeing Paul for a long time, as I continue to chase after different health and physical goals!

Jane S, Lumbosacral dysfunction

"I have been a physical therapy patient, on and off, for about the last 7 years, due to chronic instability of my SI join and lower vertebrae in my back. Paul Schroeder, by far, has been the best physical therapist I have had. When I met Paul, I could barely walk. I was in such incredible pain and was scared to do anything for fear of hurting more. He took such great care and built a trust with me that was able to break down my wall of fear and literally got me back on my feet.

He goes above and beyond the call of duty which I have never found with other therapists.

He gives you 110% every session

and you never feel rushed with a schedule parameter with him. You know he is focused on you, and as a patient, it is so appreciated. Paul is highly skilled, and more importantly, a compassionate therapist who does everything in his power to get you back feeling great. I feel blessed I was lucky enough to find him! There aren't many like him out there."

Mike C, Shoulder instability, multiple ankle surgeries

"Unfortunately, I've had a lot of physical therapy in my lifetime, and Paul is hands-down the best Physical Therapist I've had. I recently had seen Paul for 3 different issues/body parts, all at once, two of which were very complex and serious. under his care, all three issues were cleared up within a very short time-frame.

Paul is the gold standard - an expert in all phases of PT, his knowledge is second to none and he passes that knowledge along to the patient so that the patient understands the why and how.

He practices his craft with the highest level of professionalism, and his abilities as a practitioner are unmatched. Paul's clinical technique is astounding and had me fully functional with all three injuries in the shortest time possible - clinically, Paul can perform techniques/functions and manipulate injuries better than any PT I've ever worked with as a patient.

Paul is very inspiring and witty, as well, so there is also an element of fun to the physical therapy sessions. And he practices according to putting the patients' best interests first - as an example, Paul would not see me for all 3 injuries at once; two was the max, in order to maintain the integrity and focus of the process.

I give Paul my highest recommendation as a Physical Therapist, and I have followed him for subsequent injuries, even though location was more convenient with other practitioners."

Laurie F, Rotator cuff and labral tears

"Expertise, solid experience, and a strong ability to listen closely and communicate clearly - that's what I look for in a physical therapist. Paul possesses all of these traits in spades, as well as having an incredible sense of humor. He makes physical therapy sessions something to look forward to! I have seen Paul on and off since 2011 for upper back/rotator cuff issues including chronic pain. He's been great at answering my numerous questions and explaining physiologically, what was happening with my rotator cuff. Paul seems to have the ability to look right through your skin to pinpoint the cause of pain, and then develops a sensible plan of action, which would be adjusted as needed, for my road back to health. I have seen a few physical therapists in Chicago and in my opinion, Paul is the best of the best! I have great confidence in his abilities and have recommended him to numerous friends.

His amazing skills have been invaluable to me,

and for that, I will be forever grateful.

Matt L, post-concussion syndrome; biceps tendonopathy

I've had no shortage of injuries over the years, from mild overuse inflammation to fractures and tears. I met Paul about 3 years ago to address a concussion I had received from combative sports. He was incredibly diligent and detailed, addressing all factors from my memory to my vestibular activity. I was incredibly impressed with his plan of attack and am seeing him currently for soft tissue work on a tendon rupture from MMA. Maybe one day I'll walk away, but until then Paul is my guy. Thank you!

That knot I showed you when I first asked is completely gone. I'm blown away man! No lie, when you said it was a soft tissue restriction I was a little skeptical because it felt so pronounced. I figured it was some sort of structural thing after the scar, but it's flipping gone. That's amazing! Thank you.
